Greeter: Danielle Giann
There were no visiting Rotarians.
There were two guests: Dante Bruno and Christina Loggia.
Danielle led us in the pledge and the 5 Way test.

Thought of the Day: No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Aesop

The Greeter’s Gift: A fine bottle of wine which Chuck Marr won.

Theme and Vision: Rotary Rob reminded us that Barry Rassin, Rotary Club of the Bahamas, and the theme for this Rotary year is: “Be The Inspiration.” In addition, he also suggested as Rotarians, “together we see the world where people unite and take action to create a lasting change, across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

Happy Bucks:  We had a Very Happy Buckiness today. Harry was busy…
Harry passed his physical
John L. gave a brief mention of the homeless shelter and a mtg at Church of the Red Rocks.
Lori Z. Has 8 Grants applications that will be reviewed soon.
Lots of good health and weather comments.

Club Elections: President Rob led us thru an election process that ended with the approval of the following:
Amy M. Secretary and Officer/Director of the BOD
David G. Community Services Director
Bob Johnson. International Services Director
Holly Johnson. Co Youth Services Director (with Russ Snider)

In addition Chuck Marr made a proposition that since he had provided leadership in Managing the Programs for two years , that he would step down from Program Chair and would write local newspaper articles for the club if some one would replace him. Lori Z. and Danielle G. agreed to co chair Programs for 2019-20.

Club Assembly: His Commodoriness led us into our Club Assembly, what it's about and why we have one quarterly. Rob asked for ideas to improve the club, communications, membership, fund raising, brand, image etc.

There were several great ideas:
Get together with other clubs…need more. Perhaps DG visit.
Need a signature fundraising event:
                        Grocery Store 5 min dash
                        Moonlight Madness
                        Taste of the Village
Other thoughts:
Rotary signage as you enter the Village
                        Rotary Park near OCCC

David G. stated it best that we need a “cause” and then we can do the fundraising. We should have some direction after grants are awarded in May.
Lots of good conversation. The BOD was listening and will discuss at the upcoming BOD meeting.

Adjournment: Our Persistent President Rob hit the bell at 8:28 sharp! And we were gone…kinda. Lots of conversation AFTER THE MEETING. Looked like a very healthy Rotary Club to this scribe…Mark

Next Meeting:   April 11, Red Stone Grille: 7am for breakfast, meeting starts at 7:30.
