Our October 15 meeting was filled with Club updates from our committees. We heard about what has happened in just over 3 months, and what we can look forward to in the future. A summary of some of the great things going on:- Our membership has gained and we're increasing our friends list each day. Remember to share any interest from prospective members with Mark V.
- The PR team has been busy with consistent press releases, social media updates, and saving articles to document and share with the club.
- Youth services continues to work with Heather Isom and the Interact Club at the high school and with Russ returning, we hope to have some additional help and involvement from the students at future Garden events.
- Community Services held a blood drive, creek clean up, and one work day at the Garden. A future creek clean up will be held in the spring and more Garden work will be ongoing.
- The administrative committee is working on a virtual Halloween event, and reminds anyone interested in the Joe & Jive at Oak Creek Espresso to show up this Friday at 8:00am.
All members are welcome to participate and get involved with committees. In just 3 months so much has been accomplished, imagine what we can do with 9 more! Jump in, help out, work together!
