Thankful
Our November 19 meeting centered around our gratitude as individual club members. Allow us to share some of the highlights and beautiful thoughts shared during the Zoom meeting.

  • Gerri- having good help and the gift of Al being at home.
  • Rob- thankful for hearing someone say thank you- that means someone's day is being made better.
  • Carolyn- be conscious of ingratitude. Being mindful of everyone and the process for something even as simple as a cup of coffee from planting, to growing, producing, transporting, and selling. Thankful for the known and the unknown in the process.
  • Sara's gratitude was expressed in the image above and we can all relate.
  • Chuck- family, the Film Festival happening, Snickers (dog), and his travels with his grandson to Presidential Libraries around the country.
  • Ken- blessed to share life with Beverly, children, and his once Little Brother, now friend, Ricky.
  • David- 45 years of marriage to Jennette, children, grandchildren, and a great life in Sedona.
  • Holly- husband Bob, finding Sedona, children, grandchildren, and a real home.
  • Christie- faith, family, friends, and light in the sky everyday, it's a gift.
  • Harvey- thankful for the love and quality with his wife, creating Verde Valley Food System improvement plan.
  • Jennette- her husband David, grandkids, friendships, peace and understanding.
  • Matt- family, children and his wife Christie.
  • Lori- good health, family, and 20 years of marriage.
  • Russ- family, his wife Betsy, children, and happy to be part of the club and the Garden.
  • Rachelle- family.
  • Mark & Robin- family, friends, neighbors, active community, weather, clean environment, equality, planet preservation, humanitarian efforts.
  • Phong- family, friends, new group of friends in the club, weather, and his kids.
  • Miki- the weather, welcoming in this community, and a true community of sharing.
  • Damian & Danielle- family and life in Sedona.
  • Harry- family, and Rotary being his surrogate family.
  • John- providing housing for people in need.
  • Judy- a vaccine for Covid, Sedona, and the healthcare workers.
Overall, it was a lovely meeting with so many heartfelt sentiments and thanks being shared. The world may be different and we are not meeting in person, but this meeting via Zoom was an example of just how we can continue to share, grow closer as a club, and as friends. Thank you all for sharing and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
