Deadly Mistakes in Estate Planning
Jon Linford, an experienced estate planning attorney, led us through an insightful and engaging discussion on how to avoid some of the most common — and costly — mistakes in estate planning. He emphasized that simply having a will is not always enough and explained why it’s so important to avoid the probate process altogether.
Jon also highlighted the critical need for a Mental Health Power of Attorney and explained that wills or trusts created in other states may not be valid in Arizona without proper recertification. His presentation clearly demonstrated how state-specific laws can significantly impact even the most carefully crafted estate plans.
Many attendees left wishing there had been more time to dive deeper and ask additional questions. If you're unsure where to begin when it comes to protecting your assets and ensuring your wishes are carried out, Jon Linford can help guide you through the process. He can be reached at 928-774-0333.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre production of The Snow Queen was a great success, involving 50 talented students. In addition to delivering two fantastic performances in front of a combined audience of 269 people, the students also collected a generous amount of food for the Sedona Food Bank.
We sincerely thank everyone who helped sponsor and support this wonderful event!
