New Story February 12 2022
On Thursday, February 3, we had the opportunity to hear from Yavuz V. Atila. Yavuz is the Western North America Regional Chapter Leader - for the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG). Yavuz shared his passion and commitment to the environment and the new area of focus for Rotary International: the environment.

With the ever growing population of the earth, paying closer attention to our environment and stepping in to take action, is more important than ever before. Yavuz highlighted ways we, as a club, can take action and praised us for the work we've done with our pollinating and community garden.
Here is a list of suggestions for additional ways we can get involved:
  • plan and implement service projects
  • build awareness
  • build global and local networks
  • inspire action for sustainable solutions
  • support RI in environmental efforts
For more information about this area of focus and what Yavuz suggests for attending conventions, virtually or in person, please visit: trailstopeace.com
