Rotary Week of Service Kicks Off with Verde Valley Club
Rotary Week of Service started off with perfect weather!  The club joined forces with the Rotary Club of the Verde Valley to clean up a mile of Highway 260.  Heather, Carolyn, Will and his son, Tristan collected over four ADOT bags of trash.  It was fun to work alongside former member Lynn Gilley again.
Off to a great start, our club spruces up 331 Lindsay Way tomorrow from 9 to noon.  Even if you didn't sign up, stop by to experience the camaraderie and satisfaction of being in service to others!
Rotary Week of Service Projects
  • Sunday, April 16th:  Project:  331 Lindsay Way.  Bring your yard tools and help out a neighbor from 9 a.m. to noon.  If you haven't seen the sign up email, please contact Carolyn at cjmartinod@gmail.com. Food and water will be provided.  This project was brought to us by the Lindsay Way neighbors and is in collaboration with Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach.
  • Monday-Tuesday, April 17-18th:  Sedona Humane Society.  Help our furry friends!  Contact Heather at heather@frontburnermedia.com for remaining available times.
  • Thursday, April 20th:  Manzanita Outreach.  Come work the line from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  If you'd like to carpool, please contact Carolyn at cjmartinod@gmail.com.
  • Saturday, April 22nd:  Community Garden Clean Up.  Come spend Earth Day getting our own Community Garden spruced up and ready for spring planting and our Annual Plant & Seed Sale (May 6th from 8-1pm)!  We'll start at 8 a.m. and go until we can go no more.  Reach out to heather@frontburnermedia.com if you need more information.
Clark's Not-for-Profit Monday:  April 24th
Plan to do all of your grocery shopping at Clark's on Monday, April 24th!  One of our best community partners, Clark's market, will be donating a percentage of their sales to our Charitable Fund's Veterans' project.  Watch for details about manning our table in the store to collect as many shoppers' receipts as possible.
