Program: RYLA-  Rotary Youth Leadership Award
There were 6 presenters from Red Rock High School who attended the February RYLA at Pinetop Camp provided the audience with a personal look at their experiences at camp this year. There were 14 students overall from RRHS and 168 from all over Arizona who attended.  They presented an overview of what RYLA is, various events they participated in, speakers, and activities throughout the duration of the camp. There was a continued pattern of building trust, not prejudging individuals, pushing yourself in new, possibly uncomfortable directions, and going beyond your comfort zone. “It was an amazing few days and will be remembered forever.” They met many new friends, who they have been in contact with post RYLA. They also have been ambassadors for younger students who need to attend RYLA next year. They are already recruiting!

There is no doubt they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thanked Sedona Village RC for our support.  These were awesome students who can present a good program, think on their feet, have fun and get serious when needed. They also love their breakfast…which we provided before their presentation!!

Thank you RYLA participants.

With no further business, President Rob hit the bell at 8:27 and we adjourned …on time.
