After helping Mother Nature yesterday, the club helped out a VOC neighbor today.  It took all three hours to get the job done, but we did it with a little help from our friends.  Miki, Heather, Carol, Crys, Carolyn, Rob, ERNIE!, Russ, Robin, Tracey, and Mark, along with Heather's son, Nicholas, were joined by a hardworking crew from Sedona Area Veterans & Community Outreach (SAVCO) and some neighbors.  Together we cut down trees, trimmed oleanders, raked a lot of pine needles and cones.  The dumpster was filled to the brim!  We were treated to pizza from Rotten Johnny's for lunch.  Their crew came in early just to make sure we were fed.

If this picture looks chaotic to you, you're right!  But man when we got to work, there was no stopping us!  Thank you to all who contributed to this great effort.  We did a good thing today.

Plan to do all of your grocery shopping at Clark's on Monday, April 24th!  One of our best community partners, Clark's market, will be donating a percentage of their sales to our Charitable Fund's Veterans' project.  Watch for details about manning our table in the store to collect as many shoppers' receipts as possible.
