The Rotary Foundation (TRF): TRF ranked #1 out of 8000 charities evaluated by Charity Navigator. DG David: Provided a short overview of the TRF how we can support the various ways of giving thru our contributions:
Annual Fund: SHARE: 50% to World Fund (6 focus areas)
50% to District Fund (matching Grants)
Endowment Fund (Funds invested in perpetuity)
Polio Plus (funds used exclusively for eradication of Polio)

Run Sedona: Crystal presented the details around this 2-1 event: After consideration the membership decided to defer our involvement to 2021.
Grocery Grab: Danielle provided an overview: expenses=$550, Net to school=$3364, net to RCSV=$3364…great fundraiser.
Club Fundraising Goal: Damian reminded us that our club fundraising goal is $10,000 for 2019/20. YTD: $7468 or 75% of goal
Hilton Hotel involvement: David G. provided an overview of his current communications with the Hilton Hotel…and a little history about their support for fundraisers. More to come.
RCSV Grant revision proposal: Rob had emailed the full application and subsequent concerns to the full membership January 2nd. He asked flor further questions: There were none. The membership approved the 2020 Grant Application as submitted.
Rotary Chat: we will continue to meet NOT at Rotten Johnnies (they no longer serve breakfast) but at Oak Creek Expresso 8am on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. All are welcome to attend, discuss Rotary issues, concerns, plans etc.
Rotary Leadership Institute: Meeting in Phoenix Feb 8th. Board Members, PE and PNs are highly encouraged to attend by carpool. One day experience to truly understand what Rotary is about, learn about your new job in Rotary, and meet other clubs and people who will be doing what you will be doing in 2020/21.
