Sedona Village Rotary Designated Fund
A Permanent Endowment for Community Impact
The Rotary Club of Sedona Village (RCSV) Charitable Fund has established the Sedona Village Rotary Designated Fund, a permanent endowment created with an initial gift of $107,000 from founding members Rob Schaefer and his wife, Alix. This fund ensures a reliable, long-term funding stream to support Rotary’s local and global service.
How It Works
The Fund is a permanent endowment—the principal remains invested and intact
Managed by the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF)
Annual earnings distribution:
25% reinvested to grow the Fund
75% distributed to the RCSV Charitable Fund
No restrictions on use of distributed funds
Why It Matters
This endowment strengthens Rotary’s ability to:
- Fund youth scholarships and leadership programs
- Support community service initiatives
- Respond to emerging local needs
- Contribute to Rotary International humanitarian efforts
It provides stability beyond annual fundraising, ensuring sustained impact year after
year.
Build the Legacy
The Schaefer family’s leadership gift establishes the foundation. Additional contributions will grow the endowment and expand its annual impact.
A gift to the Fund is not a one-time act—it is a permanent investment in the community.
