Sedona Parks and Recreation Department
Helping families have stress-free summers
The Rotary Club of Sedona Village has helped 12 families this year with summer camp scholarships, 7 of which were offered through the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department. The Department is a great resource to the Sedona - VOC community, as they offer year- round sports, camps, and activities to local families, and they maintain seven city parks, the Jordan Historical Museum and Park, three pocket parks.
About The Sedona Parks and Recreation Department
Posse Grounds Park is the crowning jewel of Sedona's city parks, and it is the heart of the many events that the city produces, year-round. Some of these events include the Celebration of Spring, Winter Play Day, and a dozen other annual signature events. Our club sponsors the Red Rock High School Interact Club (a service organization comprised of high school students), and these young leaders come out to help with whatever tasks the city needs to be done to make these events possible.

The Club sponsors the Missoula Children's Theatre - and partners with Sedona Parks and Recreation
The Sedona Parks and Recreation Department partners with a variety of high-quality, family-friendly non-profit enrichment programs, to centralize enrollment and boost community awareness and access. The Missoula Children's Theatre is a great example of an institution, whose annual appearance is made possible through the complimentary efforts of Sedona parks and Rec, and The Rotary Club of Sedona Village.
