Action Items from the Assembly:
Carol quizzed the members regarding Youth Service facts.  From the number of current Interact Students to the many Exchange Students hosted throughout the years, our members realized the impressive impact on youth that we have made throughout the Verde Valley.  And more to come!
Miki summarized the various activities falling under the Club Administration heading and noted that most were being handled by our members.  Secretary Dave agreed to input club attendance records on ClubRunner; Angela agreed to oversee the Club's "We care" response to members experiencing health issues.  Miki encourages members who want to buy Rotary shirts etc. to check out....rtpclubclothes.com .
Garden Manager, Robert, presented a detailed report on the status of the Rotary Village Garden.  It has twenty four beds ready for the season; with 13 leased.  His committee is reviewing the actual cost of garden operation and plans to lower the bed rental to around $150 from the $320 current lease price.   Chuck and he are working on a public relations plan to recruit more gardeners to lease beds or volunteer to help with the Rotary beds.  The Rotary Village Garden Plant Sale and Open House is scheduled for May 4.  Details will soon follow, but all members are asked to attend.  Robert was pleased that several members and guests indicated their willingness to volunteer at the garden; please contact him if you want to participate.
