Everything was great. The volunteers showed up; the players showed up; and people were having a great time.
What didn't show up was the sun. The rain showed up instead and everybody was called back to the club house.
In spite of the rain, the silent auction with Jennette's leadership did well raising about $15,000.
Maybe next year the weather will be kinder to our efforts.
