We had a great meeting last week and we were able to catch up on all of the things happening. We have a lot happening!

First, we welcomed Carol Hess and Jeff Mahan as new club members! Welcome Carol and Jeff. Carol & Jeff love to travel and explore the world. They are eager to get back out there and travel more. They also love their grandson, and their two dogs. We welcome them and can't wait to get to know them better.

Our club has a lot of events and activities taking place this month and next. Here is a summary of them:
  • April 10: Plant & Seed Sale along with a Work Day. Join us from 10:00am-2:00pm to purchase plants and seeds and work in the garden. Bring cash and come ready for a beautiful day!
  • April 17-24 is Week of Service. We'll be picking up our clean-up kit at the Eye Boutique of Sedona beginning April 15. Head out and take a hike or a walk, pick up garbage, clean up your surroundings, weigh what you gather, take a picture and send the weight and photo to heather@frontburnermedia.com by April 24.
  • May 8: Community Garden Celebration & Ribbon Cutting. Join us from 9:00am-2:00pm for lectures about composting, water harvesting, what to grow, kids activities, plant and seed sale, and an official ribbon cutting at 10:00am. Formal invites are on the way and the website will be updated within the week.
  • Cornelius Veterans Hospital Benefit Raffle- kicks off Memorial Day weekend. We're excited about this new partnership and the chance to make an impact for Veterans in our community. Look for signup opportunities to sell tickets and get involved.
Stay in the know by attending Community Service meetings each month, the 4th Monday of the month at 4:00pm. Get involved with the Fundraising Committee and attend the meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:00pm. We need you as Rotarians to get involved and help us make a greater impact in all that we do.
